The catch from the day!

I picked up a few select beers from my LCBO today.

I've had Young's Double Chocolate Stout before, and I'm pretty sure I've tried Southern Tier's Pumking, but if not, I'm super stoked.

I'm going to save the Bah Humbug cinnamon beer from Wychwood Brewery for the first day that I feel the Christmas spirit this year.

I'm *really* excited to have Garrison's Imperial IPA.  It's been a long while since I've had something from Halifax other than Keith's.

And yes, there's some St-Remy A La Creme in there.  It's new, and every coffee needs its cream.

  1. St-Ambroise Pumkin Ale is amazing. Great Lakes is ok and I have not tried Southern Tier's. Must find some!

  2. we featured the pumking at our last beer tasting, tastes like gingerbread and spice, great beer, sweeter, not a session beer,

double chocolate stout was at another tasting too... not bad but has to be chilled..

try and grab a bottle of lake of bays mocha porter, cannery brewing's maple stout, and muskoka brewings harvest ale..

  3. Robin, did I try the Pumking at Fynn's with you?

I've had the double chocolate stout before and really like it. I buy it during holiday seasons because I feel like it's a dessert replacement.

I've had Muskoka's Harvest Ale many of times actually in the past 2 months. I'm a big BIG fan.

This Lake of Bays Mocha Porter...have you seen it anywhere local? I'd love to try it.

Funnily enough (Yes, I know that's not a real word), today's post is about Cannery Brewing's Maple Stout! :)
