Don't tell Palin, but this is one killer IPA

August, 2011. We're nearing present day, I assure you.

The folks just got back from a cruise to Alaska and brought back an Alaskan IPA.

Alaskan Brewing company is still pretty new. It opened in 1986 but seems to be doing alright in terms of this one ale. It uses pure glacier water. People seem to like that.

It was definitely hoppy enough for you connoisseurs to check that box that says it's an IPA. I felt some fruity undertones while drinking it, and it had a bit of bitterness which I could have done without, but all in all, a good IPA IMO.
